yet can not create

imagery in my mind

clearly murky

yet strangely vague

like a faded Polaroid

of unknown faces

memories forgotten

and unrecognized

so mis-categorized

as pleasantry, pleasantry

created in fantasized mis-truths

lies created in swollen heart

swell created by blinded eyes

refuse to see through fog

of ardor
